| about | A visit by one of our most experienced reporters confirms that Boscundle Manor continues to deserve its place in this guide. She was especially impressed by the attractive breakfast-room, the high standard of the bedrooms and the easygoing atmosphere, despite up-market trappings such as spa baths, minibars and fridges in the bedrooms, and a helicopter landing pad. The house itself was originally built in 1740 as a private home and is a listed building. The Flints continue to exude enthusiasm, still attend as carefully as ever to the needs of guests, and still find time to tend the large terraced garden themselves. The daily changing menu of simple but imaginative dishes is an important ingredient. TEL (01726) 813557 FAX (01726) 814997 |
